Maiwen’s Studio is founded, designed, and built by Wol Maiwen — a developer who moved from building software independently into running a studio that takes on the full arc of a digital product: strategy, design, engineering, and everything behind it.
The through-line is a preference for building the whole system, not a slice of it — the experience people see and the infrastructure that makes it work.
How it started
From building software to building a studio.
Maiwen's Studio grew out of real development work — writing software, shipping websites, and building the systems behind them. Not theory, and not a template: projects that had to actually work for the people using them.
Built to fit, not to template
Every build starts with the business.
The studio doesn't start from a template or someone else's platform. It starts by understanding how an organization actually works — then designs and builds the technology around that, so the software fits the business instead of the business bending to fit the software.
